Data retention
Download the work you need before its retention window ends. Effective October 23, 2026.
Source recordings
An incomplete upload session expires after 24 hours. Unstarted and failed source recordings are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours. After successful usable extraction and result preparation, the source recording is removed within 24 hours. Keep your own original recording; this service is not a media backup.
Playback audio: 30 days
The extracted audio used for review is retained for 30 days. Project settings show its expiry date when available. After audio expires, you cannot replay passages through this service. Download and check important material while audio remains available.
Transcripts and exports: 180 days
Transcripts, saved revisions and generated exports are retained for 180 days. Expiry is attached to the project rather than reset by simply opening it. Export documents you need to keep in your own storage. A local browser draft is a recovery aid and is not a durable archive.
Deleting a project
Use Delete project in project settings. Access is revoked first and cleanup is tracked for the source, playback audio, transcript revisions, exports and relevant provider data. Deletion cannot be undone from the interface. A failed downstream deletion remains pending for retry rather than restoring access.
Separate records
Payment, credit operations and necessary security records may remain for reconciliation, accounting, disputes and abuse prevention. Account deletion from Your account revokes sessions immediately, then removes private files and authentication identifiers through retried background cleanup. A downstream failure remains pending. Clear locally saved drafts on any other devices you use. Contact support to ask which records remain.
